    Description

    Vintage Mechanical 1930s J. Chein Barnacle Bill Walker
    Barnacle Bill was a character from an old drinking song which inspired a Betty Boop cartoon, 2 Films, and also was used as the recurring theme for Pluto in Popeye the Sailor.  This toy is made of brightly lithographed tin, and features a fixed wind key on the back.  The toy is unmarked, however it is a known production of Chein.  When wound, Bill with rapidly shuffle around! (when the wind starts to loose power he needs a little push sometimes)  (WD40)
