    offered is a very nice 1930's art deco ronson "
    liter-
    pact" combination ladies vanity compact and automatic petrol lighter. the
    gold dureum
    plated case features an ivory lacquer body with deco initial area. the
    "
    liter-
    pact"
    is a ladies vanity compact with automatic lighter and does not hold cigarettes. you open the large front cover to reveal a mirror and compact with powder puff.  the
    "
    liter-
    pact"
    was first designed by louis v. aronson of newark in 1937 and came in numerous designs - colorways and finishes.  the lighter measures about 3-1/4" tall x 2-7/8" wide and is in very good used untested condition. the ivory lacquer has typical mild crazing. the mechanism is untested - moves correctly and should operate correctly with proper service of fuel. an aged flint may require removal for use. overall - a rare art deco enamel ronson
