    950's Mattel Prince Valiant Sword w/ rubber tip & scabbard

    Toy may be in the 1960's. The shield is custom made and is more authentic then the original one with picture of Prince Valiant on it. Has one mettle
    handle on back of shield which is more secure than the plastic straps the easy broke off. . Some dings from play wear on back and front from use. The
    tin shield measures 12.25" in diameter while the sword from top of handle to the tip of the rubber blade measures 18" long.  The sword's handle is constructed of hard plastic with five Jewels on each side.
    Great display piece for the vintage toy fan or collector!
