Chrysler Imperial 8-cyl. 318cid/140hp 2BBL engine. 2nd owner. All original. Silver exterior and gray leather interior with high pile original carpet. Electric windows, electric door locks, AM/FM Cassette radio. Runs and drives good. FULL DISCLOSURE: Air conditioning doesn't cool. The vehicle has the original compressor and when the AC is turned on the compressor does cycle on and off - so it may just need to be recharged. The fuel gauge is "stuck" at 9 gallons. (The tank is full) This may be because the float is stuck or that it needs a new fuel sending unit. The advice I have been given by a mechanic is to drive it around for a few tanks of gas to see if the float inside the gas tank becomes "un-stuck" or if that doesn't work then a new fuel sending unit maybe required. This part is readily available. The electric antenna does not function. It is stuck in the "up" position. This vehicle has been in Texas its entire life - never driven outside of the state. The original owner purchased this vehicle in Irving, TX and the vehicle spent most of its life in Junction, TX. There is a dent in the passenger front fender(see photos) as a result of the original owners driving in his later years. I purchased this vehicle from the original owner’s family following his passing. I had intended to restore the vehicle, but I just don't have the time to do it. The vehicle is in remarkable condition for its age (she turned 40 this year!). The paint is faded, and the clear coat is peeling off and will need a repaint. The headliner will need to be replaced as it is starting to come loose from the ceiling and the material on the "A" and "C" pillars is deteriorating. This vehicle was converted to a 2-barrel carbureted system from the original fuel injection system due to a recall in the 80's. I am also including a NOS (still in original box) AM/FM radio (Chrysler) with a brushed stainless-steel face (matches the dashboard - very rare), a vehicle cover, a new electric antenna, and material to recover the headliner.
