Antique Vintage Circular Laundry Dryer Clothestree 3 Fold Out Levels Drying Tree

Rare ANTIQUE 1920s CLOTHESTREE is constructed mainly of wood with metal connector parts. It FEATURES THREE CIRCULAR SPINNING LEVELS, EACH OF 12 FOLD-OUT ARMS, originally for hanging laundry items.  I've used this as a decorative piece to hang antique Christmas ornaments and also as a hall coat rack!
The sturdy round wooden pole connects the three rows in their middle then tapers at the top. The round pole is connected at the bottom to its three legs. The three folding levels of arms can be folded in to collapse the tree for storage. This clothestree was a great aid to the early homemaker, especially during bad weather when indoor or porch clothes drying was preferable. Today this also makes a great display piece for small items which could be attached to the arms.
This is a large piece, standing 67 inches tall.  The wooden arms in the top level are 12 inches long; in the middle and bottom levels the arms are 15 inches long.  Weighs between 15-25 lbs. This is in remarkedly good condition:  Beautiful original chippy paint antique patina. Only 1 wooden spoke is broken as pictured.
