This Jade piece was found in from the Motagua River valley in Guatemala. It has Good translucency a blue color. One window has been polished so you can see the colors of this piece. There is no way to tell what its like inside but to cut it through the middle. Large enough to cut BANGLES or a good size carving! This is one less common size of blue jadeite. Mined by the local people in the ancient manner as the Mayas did centuries ago. This item is being shipped direct from our lapidary workshop and warehouse in Mexico.This is authentic Jadeite found in the well known Motagua River valley region in Guatemala.
