This item does not come with the monkey,
It has the patent number and years printed on the toy. This is a tin box with side crank with red plastic handle. When the handle is turned music will play. The music plays very nicely and can easily be heard. The front has a scene with playing children and Tippee Tim playing as well. It is marked " Tippee Tim The Dancing Monkey" On the back it has "Mattel Inc. Toymakers Mattel Tippee Tim The Dancing Monkey 1958 Mattel Los Angeles". All the metal is intact. It works and plays nicely. Comes as shown. There is some wear and scratching in areas as shown. Measures approx. 10.25" x 8.25" x 4".
