This Jadeite piece has a rather rare mix of greens and blue colors. Some transparancy. No stress fractures a very solid block of jadeite..This Jadeite piece comes from the Motagua River valley in Guatemala. This type of jade has been lab tested and proven to be genuine Jadeite by well known gemologists. This piece has been sliced on one (or more) sides. The quality of the material can be seen with a clear view. You can be sure that there is always plenty of fine sections of material to be worked. Color can vary from the outside to the inside of the stone and hidden pockets of higher quality jadeite can sometimes be hidden inside. Mined by the local people in the ancient manner as the Mayas did centuries ago. This piece is being shipped direct from our lapidary workshop and warehouse in Mexico.
