At 6.0 peak horsepower, this vac delivers the power for heavy-duty pro cleanups. Its redesigned scroll technology gives the NXT vac an increase in power, suction, and lift. Drum keying optimizes vac airflow and latches tightly seal lid to drum to avoid suction loss and improve convenience when carrying or dumping. The 14 Gal. NXT vac includes the first ever 2-1/2 in. locking accessories that lock onto a wand or hose which means no downtime from attachments coming apart. The 2-1/2 in. diameter size resists clogs and makes cleaning large messes quick and easy. This large capacity vac features a 2-piece drum construction that offers the toughest RIDGID durability. For added convenience, this vacuum has an ergonomic front-to-back top carry handle offering a more natural carry, a large power switch that's easy to flip with work gloves, drum carry handles for a comfort grip when lifting, and 4 swivel casters for 360° movement during cleanup. A tool storage caddy on the back of the vac securely stores attached accessories even when lifting and emptying the drum. Hose storage keeps the hose neatly on board and caster feet provide secondary storage for needed attachments.
