vintage Ronson De-Light Mastercase cigarette case/lighter Art Metal Works

Description

Offered is a very nice Ronson De-Light Mastercase case/lighter manufactured by the Art Metal Works company. It features dark brown enamel front and back with a very unique design composed of rectangles and triangle with a chrome diamond monogram plate engraved CS. It is very good condition, with some light scratching to the enamel consistent with the age of the piece. There are several soft dings on both sides, which are only visible at a certain angle, and is mentioned only for the sake of complete accuracy. I have tried to show dings in pics 8 and 9, but they are very hard to photograph ; the item still displays great. This is an earlier model as evidenced by the broad "shoulders" and single fulcrum screw.  Mechanism is untested but moves freely and may be put in working condition with removal of old flint and addition of new flint and fluid.  Please note that I make no guarantees that the lighter will be fully functioning and is being sold as a non-working collectible only.
