    Description

    Vintage Ronson England Sterling Siam Lighter 'Fighting Elephants' Very Detailed
    Fantastic depiction of two elephants, one on hind legs with riders fighting with very long swords, some kind of battle ensuing, excellent detailing here. On the other side is Nang Fa Indra who is meant to bring happiness, perhaps she balances out the fighting, she carries a box or basket and throws out some sprinkles of happiness. There are three small areas where there is damage to the silver casing, mostly to the sides (see photos 7,8 & 9), some dings and scratches. This is probably from the 1940's, perhaps during the war and the lighter has been well used I'm sure, still it opens and closes well, just needs a flint and some petrol.
