Winfield China /Desert Dawn Ashtray/Handmade/RARE

Here is a great item for you Winfield Collectors. My Mother-in-Law was a 'painter' for Winfield China in the late 50's and 60's. We recently opened a box in the garage and found a bunch of pieces from Winfields 'Desert Dawn ' Pattern in Cream color and Brown. Most of the pieces we've kept to fill-out our collection. In the bottom of the Box were Small Ashtrays still packed in the original paper.In a Pear shape approx 4"x3".  A White and Red Flower on Brown China. Embossed on the back side 'Winfield Calif USA/Santa Monica'.No Chips or Cracks. Mom is 82 and when ever we ask her if she painted whatever piece we show her, 'She say's Yes She Did'. Moms recollection is not very good. Ashtrays that match the various patterns are RARE. Most folks didn't purchase them to complete sets. Mom says thats why they made less of them.
